We have three Tai Chi classes at the same venue in Formby. On Monday, the main focus is Yang-style Tai Chi; and on Wednesday, we teach Chen-style Tai Chi in the first class and Yang-style Tai Chi in the beginners class. Both forms of Tai Chi are greatly enjoyed by all of our students.
The Monday Tai Chi classes focuses on Yang-style Tai Chi, which is one of the most popular and widely practised forms of Tai Chi in the world. As part of our class curriculum for the Formby Tai Chi class, we will be teaching the Yang-style 24 form, the Yang-style 85 form, the Yang-style Chi Kung and more.
The Wednesday Tai Chi class focuses on Chen-style Tai Chi, which is one of if not the oldest style of Tai Chi in the world today. As part of our class curriculum for the Formby Tai Chi class, we will be teaching the Chen-style 19 form, the Chen-style 38 form, the Laojia, Chan Si Gong (Silk Reeling exercise) and more.

To try a class, you will be required to pay for 4 taster sessions in advance. The cost of each class is different and we do not offer pay-as-you-go drop-in sessions unless specified. As we have limited spaces per class, please do not turn up to any of our classes without first contacting the school or the relevant instructor to check for availability.
